When playing a high end game, i often static type sounds when there is a huge amount of sound effects, or in some games, with the game anouncer talks its easy to hear, but is also backed by a static effect. it makes the noice in different ways in different games. sometimes its during the music, others, during sound effects, and others during voices. like battlefield 2, it does it during announcer voice and when tank soundeffects play.

but aside from games, it never does this. movies are fine, songs...anything aside from games is fine.

would getting a sound card prevent this?

    if so..hows this? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7293822&type=product&id=1118841165481

i am running logitech x230 2.1 speakers if that helps any.
