I just find it funny how people think they can beat the system. No need to be such a hard ass.

who was being a hard ass?

he sounded like he was desperate to fight and did what he thought was the best choice. I'm just glad that he fessed up and appologized instead of denying it and bullshitting. Dana tends to take care of his fighters who are honest and fess up afterwards.

Apology or not, he's a steroid user now. Can't get past the system and he'll be labeled a cheater from now until the end of his career.

Just like this guy, even though he's a standup guy.

I dont htink so. I think Tim and Josh got away pretty well from the steroid scandal.

I think its more the Colemans, Baronis, and Randlkemans that will always be persecuted, well, because they never stopped and they look like roid factories.

I thought the same thing, but if his school doesnt make money he could REALLY be hurting.

I honestly think it's just an excuse to gain pity instead of hate. No love from me.

Hard Work + Dedication > 'Roids + Excuses

I don't think it was roids. It could be painkillers if his ankle is as bad as he said it was.

Pain killers dont help injuries heal, steroids do.

My bad I must have over read that part.

It's kind of funny because he knew all titled fights get tested and he was using all the way up to the competition so there was no way it would be out of his system. He just screwed up the rest of his career. He should have called off the fight IMO.

What the fuck would he have done if he won the fight? I don't understand what he was thinking.

Thats what I was thinking when I first read the article.

I hope they start banning people from the sport for use. With all these recent fighters testing positive I think its terrible for a sport that is just coming into the mainstream.

I don't know about banning, but I agree with an almost year long suspension. They should up the fines as well or keep them at a percentage.

The are trying to change the fine rule in Cali right now the max is $2,500, but under most of the other athletic commissions it is a percentage of their payout.

I guess I was about 30 minutes too soon with this statement.
