    :o

i havent lifted for about 2 years, and 2 years ago i only did it for a month.

and then before that i did a little lifting in highschool

i am on week 3 of my lifting right now

    I am 22 years old, 6'3" , 150 lbs

i have like very little body fat and a very fast metabolism, i can eat anything as much as i want and i dont get fat in huge porpotions, i try to eat healthy

this is after my first week aka beggining, note: i have been sitting on my ass for years and hardly ever do anything

my buddies that i go with do

    legs mon
    chest tues
    abs/back weds
    shoulders thurs
    arms fri

i try to eat as much as i can, i am getting alot hungrier now tat i have started working out

right now im on week 3 and my biceps are soo sore that i can barely extend my arms

everything i am doing right now usually ends in muscle failure by the end of that muscles 5th set at the heaviest, so i guess that is good.

ill be updating my progress here in this thread, i have week 2 pictures but theres not much of a difference, right now at the end of the 3rd week i can see a small difference in my chest and my triceps

my forearms get very tense when doing arms i guess because i dont have any muscles for gripping heavy weights and controlling them

we barely use any machines its all freeweights

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about eating healthy at this point...just get your protein in and toss in some calorie-dense foods for a while and take advantage of the ridiculous gains you can achieve as a noob.

:werd: You shouldn't worry too much about being food conscious due to your high metabolism and current condition. Instead, focus more on how you're going to be getting enough calories per day in order to exceed your weight set point.

    I was 6'3" 165lbs when I started 8+ years ago :)

You need massive amounts of food and consistency at the gym

you may think you eat a lot but how many times a day are you doing it? Are there some days where you hardly eat at all?

Try stuffing yourself 5-6 times a day and then you'll realize how little you had been eating before.

eating out can get pretty expensive... if you make food at home and bring it with you then money may become less of an issue.

If you're in a tight spot you can always become a dollar menunnaire :dunno: just don't do it every day.
