starting strength by mark rippetoe

    so who has this book and can post the exact routine?

    i thought i was doing it (minus one 2 rep set for warmups)

    I know i need the book i just dont have the $$ for that right now.

    you need Practical Programming, not Starting Strength

    someone mentioned he's coming out with another book? would it be best to just buy the new one or will i miss what's in practical programming?

    it looks like practical programming is the precursor to starting strength.

    ok so maybe i do need practical programming. i would like to do the rippetoe program that's in "starting strength" so that would be book #2 I should read, yes?

    Practical Programming = programming
    Starting Strength = technique


    You don't need Starting Strength if all you want is the routine. Practical Programming covers it in much more depth.

    i thought the routine was only in Starting Strength.

    i wish they sold these in bookstores so i could go thumb thru them.

    actually i might pick them both up anyway. i have a few people in my circle that could use the info in both books.

    elitefts just got the 2nd edition of Starting Strength in... so you could order both from them.

    there's like 3 pages in Starting Strength on that routine..... Practical Programming is an entire book devoted to it, so fuck you

    sorry man, i dont know any better because i obviously dont have the books. i'm not questioning what you're telling me, no need to take it personally.

    and i wasnt sure if you were fucking with me or not. i'll pickup the practical programming. thanks again.
