Decided to start up again. I made alot of weight loss gains and I feel like I'm slipping back, so it's time to start being a psycho health-freak for awhile.

I ran tonight, jesus christ, does the cold fuck anyone else's lungs/throat up? I could barely breath, felt like everything just closed up. Now I can't stop coughing up, seems like there's liquid or phlem in my throat.

Am I just retarded with some sort of asthma or does this happen to anyone else?

Man it sucks to feel all the loss that's happened, hopefully it'll be motivation not to stop next time.

    Wish me luck!

Any gyms around here with indoor tracks? I only like treadmills for warming up before lifting.

But yeah, 44 degrees and running sucks for me, I'd hate to see what it's like when it's actually cold.

maybe switch to a stationary bike at the gym, running a lot over time can damage your joints

edit- plus you can read and shit like that while you bike

Seems like anything below 65 degrees and my lungs HATE me after running.

Maybe I'll just have to use my treadmill, I just don't like how it's easier.

So don't make it easier... run for longer, do intervals, or jack up the incline

I prefer the cold when I am running, maybe because I am just a very sweaty person.

Just layer up then do a mile warmup and take off some layers. The phlem thing is normal for me I spit alot when its cold because of the buildup.

My times always got faster as the weather got colder each fall then would slow down as summer arrived. I hate the GA summer.

44 isn't that cold to run in you pussy.

44 isn't cold at all. I'm wearing a cut off t-shirt, it's not that. My lungs/throat close up, can't catch my breath. Wheezing and shit. Doesn't happen when it's hot.

Layering up isn't going to effect the temperature of the air I'm inhaling. It's not a body warmth issue.

I like sweating my ass off when I'm working out.

    wow

I ran outside until it hit -10 celcius this year...last run I manage 2.5km in 12 minutes, and couldn't go on anymore cause my lungs felt like they were gonna collapse...up until that cold I was fine

even in -20 and snow outside, some people are out there running

just make sure to dress properly, and apply common sense
