So I recently started lifting again, after a few month hiatus. It seems like for the last couple years, I haven't gotten really anywhere, so this time I want to do it right.

Right now, i'm not all that defined and at about 15.9% body fat
I was wondering if you guys could give me any suggestions/ help to aid me in reaching some goals.

    Stats:

    6'3'', 198lbs, 15.9% body fat.

    Goals:
I'd like to be somewhere between 200-210lbs, but lean and cut and be somewhere around 11% bodyfat.

I'm unsure about how I should go about accomplishing this. Should I bulk and cut? Or should I just go about eating correctly and continue an intense weight lifting regimine. Also, I know I need to eat correctly and add some cardio to lose my body fat, so I would also need to know where that would fit in.

    Here's some starting pics:

Back: (I'm aware I have no ass) --I started doing squats finally

So I'm up for any help, suggestions, criticism about what you reccomend me doing. As soon as i get some help, I'm going to start up a log. Thanks for the help!

I'm trying to determine whether I have to bulk up like 20-25lbs, to actually attain this goal.

I'd try to eat about 300-500kcal over maintenance a day, that'd add around a pound a week and if you eat right/clean and lift heavy you won't add too much fat. Hopefully by beginning/middle of march you'll be about 20lbs heavier and can start cutting for summer.

You sure you're almost 16% bf? I'm almost the exact same height and weight and I'm about 12% bf and look about the same as you.

15-16% looks about right, you look pudgy in the midsection

Just bulk up to around 220-230ish for this winter, and then cut down for the summer time.. you should pack on a couple lbs of muscle during that time frame

you look to have pretty good genetics, just need more muscle to make it stand out

Just a random question about bulking. If I bulk up about 20-25 more pounds eating clean foods, and I am consistantly lifting.....am I going to look fat, or will it just kinda look like i have a good muscle mass?

I've never did this before, so i just have questions.

Edit: The reason i ask is because about 200lbs is the most i've ever weighed. I was a pole in highschool at about 170, so going up about 50-55 pounds just seems odd to me.

you will become a little bloated, and if you try to do things too quick you will become fat. Just slowly work up your calories until you find a good number where you're constantly adding about a 1 lb a week
