I'm home for the summer from college and I decided to start building some muscle. I'm already and athletically built male. I'm 6' 3" and currently weight about 175.

My plan is to add more muscle mass. I'm thinking I want to add about 10 to 15 lbs. this summer. I'm already a little tone but I want to get "bulkier." I went to my local health food store and the store clerk recommended "Muscle Milk."

I work out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for about an hour and a half doing mostly upper body workouts. I drink the Muscle Milk after I get done working out and before I go to bed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'm trying to eat healthier and staying away from fried foods.

What do you guys think? Is Muscle Milk any good for what I am doing? Should I do more or what?

    advice:

read the stickies. If you want to gain weight and are concerned with size/appearance, then try Pur's Bodybuilding routine stickied in the forum. Also read nutrition stickies because diet is everything in changing your appearance. Adding muscle milk is a good step to gaining size but you gotta do a lot more than that.

Otherwise, at 6'3" 10-15lbs will not go as far as you think.... but it's a good starting goal... Honestly I'd try to gain that in 6 months instead of by the end of summer, you don't want to gain weight too fast and end up "doughy" like myself.

    problems

    1. athletically built 6'3 male at 175lbs doesn't work
    2. Just drinking muscle milk does nothing
    3. follow a proper routine

Its not worth flaming, but i suggest you read the stickies, take in the advice.
