    LOL shit I didn't catch the rip tape, wouldn't it be just as economical to put a mag loop on? i mean they are like what 4 bucks for 3.

    i wanted to stick to something .30 cal so I could use a lightweight 9mm suppressor or my .308 can

    50 beowulf? I don't like the 50AE cartridge, loading it, the trajectory, or the suppression options

    i want zero drop for 100 yards, and a "pellet gun" sound signature, this is the perfect platform

    50 Beo != 50AE.

    link to that? I haven't actually seen anything about what it is based off of, other than that it uses a x39 rim.

    thats pretty fucking sick. I'm looking to build an ar in the near future. I think I'm going with 5.56 but still I was looking at some pretty sick 308 stuff, I think its just too much gun for a long day at the range (it'd be my first AR). but I'm diggn the stainless barrel on your build.

    EDIT: so whats the deal with the suppressor? I get the idea behind the .300 Whisper and it'd be pretty sick if you could suppress it but where do you live? are you military? or is it a mock suppressor?

    He's in Georgia, where it's legal to own a suppressor.

    had to ditch the JP gas block and go with a noveske low profile and pistol tube, i'm going to use the YHM modular smooth handguard for time being, and I just got a 10.5" noveske stainless barrel to jumpstart my build, I guess I will build two guns (one long, one short barreled)

    pics of what i have so far, i will not be using the YHM 4 rail, but rather the modular smooth foreend i plan to pickup tomorrow, the detach carry handle will serve as the rear sight for now....sucks, but it'll give me something to aim with- i'm still waiting on the gas block, it was supposed to arrive today but it will be here monday
