..washed it, used to the dual action cleaner/polish and swirl free polish. i rubbed in the dual action cleaner till it was dry, then rubbed on some polish and let that sat. i still did notice some fine scratches in the paint still.:dunno:

..but on the other hand, the cleaner worked wonders on the roof, still needs more help though. :( i did the hood and roof tonight before i had to go cook, so i'll do the rest tomorrow.

i'm guessing i need a finer cut cleaner and polish? :confused:i also need to pick me up some wax. damn it sucks being broke.

Yep, after the steps you've listed go ahead and use some Vanilla Moose as your final polish. Top with some S100 and see how that looks!

Please tell me you're not driving a car with no wax on it!

Umm, I'm not sure what you used, but I don't think any wax comes with California Clay Bar.

CLAY BAR PAINT SAVING SYSTEM

You've heard about clay bars-professional detailers, body men and your car buddies all talk about how well it works. Now use the clay bar everybody wants. Created to lift the particulate debris and contaminants that washing can't, our exclusive Paint Saving System will remove embedded grains of metal, tree sap, airborne environmental deposits and paint overspray. Better yet, our clay bar isn't hazardous to your paint-it's just firm enough to pick up the bad stuff, without being too aggressive. Use Mothers® Clay Bar to get rid of paint-fouling grime and pave the way for complete waxing.
#07240 includes 80 gram Clay Bar, 16 oz. Showtime® Instant Detailer, 4 oz. Original Formula Carnauba Cleaner Wax.

Consider me enlightened. I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything, just saying what I thought to be fact. Whoops.

Although, I wouldn't use anything called "cleaner wax," 2-in-1 products rarely do their advertised jobs well. :)

Backorder? Where did you order it from? Do you have a Harley-Davidson dealer near you?
