I ran up to Rite-Aid on my lunch hour and breezed down the grocery aisle and saw that they had Starkist Chunk Light Tuna for $.59 cents a can. Thats a pretty good deal around here, I usually pay about $.90 for that brand. I cleaned em out, but it was only 10 cans.

I get the tuna from Whole Foods. I picked up some Starkist at Wal*Mart a couple of weeks ago because it's closer to my house and had to throw most of it away. In my opinion, it's cat food quality and I can see why a lot of people who lift don't like tuna. I wouldn't either if Starkist was all I ate.

I like Starkist because its usually at least somewhat chunky.

I forget which, BumbleBee or Chicken of the Sea, but one or the other is always just like a sloppy paste, like eating patte or something. I can't stand that.

Haven't really tried any other tunas but people keep mentioning the albacore stuff. Might try it when I'm out of Bumblebee...only 7 cans to go. :mamoru:

How many oz in each can? Damn, I'm shopping at the wrong place! At Lowe's Foods, it's like 1.40-1.60 for 6 oz can :( I pay ~2.50 for a 3pack of 3 oz cans :(
