Hey guys, killing some time before I get to leave work. So tell me about the ships in the Star Trek universe. Which race has the most powerful starships? I just realized how large Romulan D'deridex ships were. So can anyone shed some light on the various ships? I already checked out wiki, but checking with the OT crew

Just because it's small doesn't mean it's weak. As they said in the show, it's grossly overgunned and overpowered, and was designed strictly for battle, and specifically with the borg in mind. It makes no pretense at being for exploration or science - it's just for blowing shit up. :coold:

    Defiant FTW.

I am just messing with you. just like Riker said.
    "Tough little ship"

It still doesn't hold a candle compared to the Sovereign class or Prometheus class, and probably Akira class ships.

Admiral Riker's Enterprise from the future a la STTNG: "All Good Things..." or Voyager with the armor/ weapons upgrades Admiral Janeway brings from the future a la STV: "Endgame" ftw.

Honestly I've always like the Romulan Ships...can't remember the names right now. All federation personnel would cower at the mention of the word....disruptor. :eek4:

Oh man...Nemesis has to be my all time favorite Star Trek movie. I liked everything about it except for Data dying.

i enjoyed nemesis, though i can understand the hate. lots of fanboi shit (imzadi, scimitar, ARGOS buggy), making it another "Picard and Data Show", and not giving wesley a single line are the more common complaints.

and INS and TFF were worse.

It's more than that. They really cheapened TNG with that movie. It wasn't a star trek movie - it was all wrong.

Actually, I'd rather not type it all out again. Read this:

I dunno about that....Nemesis was bad....but the Final Frontier was a whole new bag of wrong.

Hey, if nothing else, you can't deny that Final Frontier was as Star Trek as Star Trek can possibly get. And even though the story was lame, it was internally consistent.

On both of those counts, Nemesis fails, even though it has much higher production value.
