in preparation of the upcoming star trek movie, my friends and i have watched all the original series movies within the past few days.

my favorites were Wrath of Khan, and The Undiscovered Country. the whale movie and the false god movie were the dumbest.

Not only that, you can't judge 2, 3, and 4 separately. They're all one long story.

    sorry, but WITHOUT ST:TMP .....

there would be NO OTHER STAR TREK ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, it may be slow, and with a slight exploderising of things alien ..... but as i've said before, the storyline is the ANTITHISIS o trek ..... and that most IRONIC about it!!!!

it isn't humans that go boldly where no one has gone before, but V'GER!!!

it is an AWE-INSPIRING movie to watch, especially on the big screen

According to Shatner, V'Ger was humanity's first encounter wth the Borg. :noes:

i think you could include 6 as part of that story, what with the frequent mentioning of kirk's son and all.

i loved when scotty was giving that dude the formula for transpartent aluminum and scotty picked up the mouse to "talk to the computer.

    scotty: computer!
    comp: no response
    scotty: hello computer!
the other dude: you have to use the keyboard......
    scotty: how quaint.
