The MR version is a bit more....6 speed trannie, better headlights....a couple other goodies. Which should I get? I can afford either, but of course, the less I have to pay the happier I am, unless something in the MR is really worth it.

messing around on the mitsubishimotors.com customization thingy, I can get the non-MR version to be the same as the MR version, minus the 6-speed and BBS wheels, plus a leather interior for about $1k less.....

what are people's thoughts on 6-speed vs 5-speed? at this point, that's the only major difference....and for what it's worth, I'd prefer black over the dark grey of the MR, but they're both sexy as hell....

no thanks....not a fan of the styling too much, plus the intro of the 9 makes the 8 that much cheaper.

the dealer said they don't come with it, but they have a good leather guy who'd add it for 1200-1500 depending on the size of the job....hmm....

4 Wheel Indp Suspension is worth 1k$ alone, and a 6speed is better for handling

I'd get the MR. 6-speed alone makes up for it not to mention the extra handling goodies.

What? There is no difference, except springs & shocks, in the suspension between the 2 models. All Evos get 4 wheel independent suspension.

Well, just waiting for my business to pick up....as soon as that happens, then I can buy a car. The only problem is waiting for my business to pick up!

At any rate, got the dealers down to $36074 for the MR....pretty good, but I think I can do a bit better.
