I'm going to a signing with Stan "The Man" Lee this weekend. I can get 2 items signed, but can't decide on what. If you were me, which two from the following would you pick? Any combination is fine. I'll probably get them CGC'ed since some representatives will be there. If you have any other suggestions, I'm open to them. I mainly have moderns.

    Amazing Spider-man 583 1st Print

You make a good point. In that case, it'd be the TOS 80 and ST 123. This being Stan though, he'll basically sign anything with Marvel on it. Tons of people have him sign that way.

I forgot to mention that Joe Rubinstein (artist/inker) will be there too. Maybe I could get Joe to sketch on a blank cover, and have Stan sign it (lots of people do that too).

I'm sure he would, because in the end they are his characters and he's cool, but I still would get him to sign his stuff.

The sketch sounds cool but I'm not sure why you'd have Stan sign it :o

I agree in principle that it would be weird to have him sign the sketch cover, but again lots of people do that too. I guess it's kind of like an extra bit of icing on the cake to have him sign something.

I'd have him sign TOS 80 and the Obama cover. Just think of the resale value.

The #600 stuff really isn't a big deal, and the death of captain america will be soon forgotten.

Must be going to Frank and Sons.

Anyways, I'd go with the Obama and #600

So far it seems Obama/something he worked on is in favor. I'll see if I can find something else he's worked on that I have.

I don't get the big deal about the Obama one. So many people bought it, it seems worthless.

I think a true estimate lies somewhere in the middle. $600 is overpriced since the Obama craze has died down, but a cgc'ed signature on a comic is worth more than one that just has a COA from a store. For a Stan Lee sig on this comic in high grade, I'd put a range from $100 to $200, maybe more if you get the creative team to sign it as well.

I would go with the ASM 600 (Alex Ross) and the Annual 21.

That is a lot of if's :fawk:

But if he was able to get a 1st print variant signed by the creative team, stan lee and obama...that would be pretty fucking epic and totally doable since obama is relatively young so he should be sort of accessible after his presidency.
