MMA stalemate...

    So today I went down to my instructor's academy and rolled with this blue belt with about the same experience as I had (just under 3 years), he was a little bit bigger (this was no gi). Now I wouldn't say his wrestling was strong, but his jiu jitsu was like the clone style of my own and it was a very long stalemate of escapes and sweeps. WORST FEELING EVER!!!!! I think this was good, so I am motivated to smoke him the next time we meet. Time to train harder.

    I ask because today in class I was rolling with some guy who had started 3 months before I did, and he just quit because he was tired and we were going forever too.

    The only thing I did right was pass his gaurd though, twice. :noes:

    I felt so proud passing his guard. :o
