GUN stainless steel ftw or ftl?

    so after waiting over 15 weeks to get permission from teh state of nj to purchase an evil black rifle :noes: , i'm ready to start buying my shit.


    i'm eyeing the noveske 16" recon (SS) or recce low profile (chrome) uppers. the interwebs aren't decisive. what say you OT :bowdown:

    my chrome lined LMT can shoot sub MOA with good ammo, the limiting factor is gonna be skill for most people. Barrel life will be quite a bit more than a stainless tube, so it depends on how much you plan on shooting it. Stainless bbls are also heaier.

    5 shots, 100 yards and reloads when I was sighting in my rifle a year or two ago. I've hit 6" wide steel at 425 yards with my rifle from prone with reloads. Holding for wind was a bitch, but it can be done with a CL barrel.

    What you really need is a reloading press and you can watch your groups shrink :big grin:

    I thought it was all gone, but turns out I have a few boxes of it left. I'll see what it does the next time I'm out. :bigthumb:
