I like the look, but is there any benefit, performance wise over a standard chrome lined?
It will match your grille
They're more resistant to corrosion but you still need to take care of them.
The chrome lined barrels are the "toughest" but the thickness of the lining isn't consistent. That will cause a slight loss of accuracy. A stainless barrel has no such inconsistent lining, and will be more accurate.
I didnt read the chrome lined part
Stainless is more resistant to rust than carbon, and they seem to be sometimes better finished in factory guns (Remington, for example).
If given the option, I usually opt for SS as the better wear characteristics are worth it to me.
They are often available in custom configurations that normal 4140 or 4150 barrels are not. That, to me, is the main advantage.
