    :ugh:

its a holden for one, and a G8 GT is as quick as a SRT8 300c, and significantly cheaper.

:rofl: I could see your argument if you were considering a BMW or Merc, but Chrysler is the shittiest out of any of the domestic brands. Fucking awful interior compared to any other car is just the tip of the iceberg.

The car is pretty good for the price. It's a great muscle car, but the synthetic steering and non-defeatable ESP make it a pretty poor driver's car. It will do what you ask of it but it just doesn't feel like it wants to.
That, and the interior is pretty crappy. Not horrible, just hard and plasticy.

Oh, and I just came back from Boston with the car, I got 20 MPG at a pretty steady 80-85 MPH. Around town I'm only getting about 10-12 MPG. Nothing of note has broken save for a broken horn and a faulty thermostat. I have 19000 miles on the car and mechanically its in very good shape.
I wouldn't buy another, only because 1.)too many hood rats get the base model and 'pimp' it out. I don't want to be associated with them and 2.) I want a CTS-V.:o

Because GM might still be in business...maybe

But dont worry, you wont be able to get once since they (chrystler) shut down production entirely.

I have a normal C, a friend has an SRT.

Dependent on the year... you can completely disable the ESP. I have a 2008 and if you turn the key as if you're going to start the car while your going 25kmph or more for 5 seconds (or 8) I cant remember. The car will beep and you'll get 2 lights on your dash saying your ESP is off.

I love my C, and if I had the money for the SRT I would have gotten it.

Mean looking cars, but heavy as hell (4100-4200lbs) and slower than current GT Mustangs.

    Plus no manual transmission :hs:

If you're going to get an SRT8, skip the 300... grab a Dodge Charger. The SRT8 of that looks awesome... despite the many, many other shortcomings it has.

No, the car will not try to start. Ever notice how you start the car, and it does it itself? Its controlled by the computer. And when you try to start it again it will not engage the starter at all.

lol, i gotta agree with you here. There's nothing that beats the look of a 300c. imo. Other than a 300c SRT8.

Must be on unique to newer cars. On my previous cars that have been really quiet, I could grind the starter (haven't ever done it on my current).

Yeah most newer cars are this way now.

This is the newest car I've owned, and every other car before it has grinded starters.

So I know what you're thinking, its just not the case with these ones. Try it out! Its fun with ESP off.
