I bought all mine in bulk, but I have none left and need to do an oil change on my SR equipped car. Is there a filter from a USDM vehicle that will fit? I was thinking maybe G20 or B13 Sentra SER?

I have a pleasant 1400km drive home tomorrow :hs:

well, I don't know what the oil looks like. Might be black as shit. But yea, if the oil looks good then im just driving it back. (It already has 10w60 oil which costs 18 bucks a fucking liter at BMW dealership)

Impulse Z, im unsure if this filter is stocked at Nissan dealers here. Is the part number for a different vehicle or is it sold as an SR20DET filter?

run the Mobil 1 or K&N oil filter. they have a oil check valve that holds oil so when you start the car cold it has some oil that will immedietly get pumped from the filter into the block. Just an extra safety since SR's are Pain in the asses with oil and heat issues.

Can anyone recommend me some engine oil if it needs to be changed? I dont have $18/liter to spend on proper oil. Engine is lightly modified. I was just going to use 15W50 Mobil 1? Sound good?

yeah but every little bit helps

i would rather spend the extra 5 bucks and not have to replace anymore rod bearings!

mobil 1 or castrol syntec is fine. i run 5w30 in mine.

seems that it has to be at least 50 weight. I'd perfer 60 weight. Mobil 1 seems to be the cheapest.

Is yours an S13? Few people recommend that oil as it is too thin for my climate. Gets quite hot here in the summer. And yea, im in Canada :hsugh:

i used to run heavier weight in my motor that was prety much blown up to stop blowby.
but with my built motor i'm running 5w30. recommended by my builder. i woudlnt' run heavier oil. i would stay 30-40w
