    its obvious, sr is lighter, drops right in, more parts available in the us, doesnt destroy weight distribution etc etc etc.

    all said and done, anyone have opinions?

    im fully aware of the power capabilities from the rb motors, just wondering if all the hassle is really worth it in the end from people who know first hand.

    a fucking 240 obviously, be it 13 or 14.

    if i was fucking talking about a 510 or some other bullshit i would have made it clear, dildo factory.


    and rb replacement parts ARENT easy to come by, as an sr shares thermostats, gaskets and all kinds of shit with the DE.

    could have been a 240z, (based on your other comments in my thread), a 260z, 280z, 280zx, 300zx (first gen), 240sx, , 510, or any other of a FUCK TON of jap cars.

    the only reasonable canidate for an rb besides a 240sx would be the z32, but its pretty obvious.

    i mean, if you post a fucking thread and say should i do a k20 swap or a b16 swap people are going to fucking know youre talking about a civic.

    I wouldn't, since civics are POSs and look like shit to boot.

    thats like saying if you talk about an LS1 swap, people instantly think of an RX7, when you could also do it into a Fiero, for example.

    its personal preference, dildo. if you werent so fucking opinionated and close minded youd be able to appreciate a well put together car with 4 cylinders that make more whp N/A than your 3 liter.

    i know MANY "civics" that turn faster lap times(yes, going fast involves turns) than anything youre capable of building.

    You're pretty obsessed with dildos, aren't you. Have anything you need to share with us?

    and I wouldn't be surprised that there are 4 bangers that make more than a NA I-6 3L, that is the joy of turbo chargers. But 4 bangers on street gas that can equal that same 3L with an L28et heads an a turbo, both in power and in reliability? I think not.

    more displacement doesnt always mean more power.

    my moms I-5 h3 makes less hp than my buddies n/a k20a, on pump gas.

    got that covered in post #1.

    wanting to know, who has done it or seen it done, how bad is the handling affected, is the ability to make 600+whp on the stock block worth it.

    i understand also that a lot has to be done to get it to sit lower and closer to the firewall. and just to get it to work in general, but i want details. sick of he said she said.

    you talk shit about 4 bangers, when you have an old ass inline6 that barely makes 200whp.

    in CA all you can get is 91 octane. 93 octane isn't sold, airports refuse to sell Avgas, and because of smog laws there are no places that sell any really high octane gas. While I do plan on running a methanol/water system (or just meth, need to look into these more, I know nothing about them), the gas is really the limiting factor for people in CA, unlike in other states where it is usually about what the engine can take.

    Also, it isn't so much that I'm talking shit about them [4 bangers], I'm just responding to your (to me) outrageous claims about how good they are.

    Finally, that engine in its current tune makes about 200whp (mind, the car itself weighs less than 2400), but it is a very straightforward process to get it to 270+ whp, even without turbos.

    Personally, I plan on driving that engine into the ground, and then when I have the money getting a 3.2L I-6 block from rebello, performance L28et heads (probably a twin cam setup) and then I'm still deciding b/w a single turbo or twins.

    :dunno: whatever floats your boat mang.

    you have champagne taste on a beer budget.

    stick a fucking sr20 in it(less than $4k said and done), buy a stand alone and a bigger turbo(and injectors and a maf, which you could do away with with the standalone and a manifold and exhaust and have it tuned).

    a good tune with a standlone like aem ems and even a gt30 trim turbo will yield around 360-380whp.

    almost every L series modification (2.7 from the 2.4, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2) uses a diesel crank :dunno:

    you won't notice a difference in handling between an sr, or any rb series engine. i've driven 400whp sr's, and stock rb25 powered 240s (both s13, and s14), and i'll say that the rb was a lot more fun. the linear powerband of an i-6 owns me.

    and learn how to make a thread. and quit being a fucknut. e-pissing contests are way out of style.
