    I remember reading on this forum year or so ago about a story from a former SR 71 pilot retelling his experience of a crash he had due to an engine malfunction. Anybody know what I'm talking about and can find me a link.

    The second one is probably my favorite of all out of Sled Driver. I will own that book some day. Brings a smile to my face every time.

    That guy is on point about finding your "raido voice". I worked on the ground as comm for the birds on an A/DACG for 7 months and did the same thing. :rofl:

    Exactly as he described it too, pilots are always fuckin around and you're trying to stay as professional as possible the whole time.
