two of my disks in my lower spine bulge out slightly from a sport-related injury in high school. it's been almost three years since then, and the only pain i ever feel from them is when i'm sitting down for a long (3+ hours) time, or occasionally when i squat/dead.

if i'm deadlifting a new PR, i've broken form before and hurt my back from my own stupidity. but squats is where i have my biggest problem. i just suck at them. i've done them for about a year and a half and like how well they work, but i've tried all sorts of variations in form to keep my back from hurting afterwards, and i've almost hurt my back pretty bad a couple of times.

any of you have this problem and know how to work around it? i've switched to hack/front squats now, but i want to be able to do squats heavy eventually

Yeah, stop fucking chickens. Try a larger animal so you don't have to bend over so much.
