I'm having a debate with my physical therapist right now. He says that anything lower than parallel doing squats will put unwanted pressure on the meniscus (your knees), I argued that the lower you go the more the pressure is exerted to your hip flexors and adductors. That when you stop parallel or above you put more pressure on your knees as you use them as brakes in a way. Does anyone have any link so I print them out to show him so he will STFU?
