Squats followed by high rep leg presses = bad idea

    Oh god I almost passed out from the headrush... I was pushing myself too far on the last set of leg press and ALL THE BLOOD IN MY BODY RUSHED TO MY HEAD

    Did a total of like 100 reps between the two exercises with like 80% max weight

    I had to leave the gym because I couldn't see straight

    Praying I don't burst a blood vessel or something

    Anyone experienced this? Seems pretty hardcore, yet stupid at the same time

    Oh I've done this too.

    Barbell lunges, dumbbell lunges, etc after high rep squats

    NOTHING compares to these strict high rep high weight leg presses I did..

    I can't walk, won't walk/be able to lower myself on the shitter for a week

    I hate after a set of heavy ass squats that I barely pushed out the last rep when I wobble around and feel like im about to pass out. Same with deads

    Squats, followed by High Rep Deadlifts and than finish it off with some heavy prowler pushing was prob my worst day

    that's happened to me once. I don't know why the hell it happened. I had a cig before walking through the door so i think that might've contributed. did an easy walk for 2 min on the treadmill. then i went to do squats. nothing special, just worked it up to 185lbs or so? 5x5. then moved over to deadlifts. worked up to i think 255, was only my 4th set, and that's when i started getting vertigo or something. my vision became green and "staticy" like you see in the movies. the blood was rushing through my arms and head. i could hear my heart beat loud. i thought i would pass out just sitting on the donkey calf machine. eventually things calmed down enough for me to get up and walk out of the gym.

    :dunno: I do it all all the time. 20 and 40 rep sets of leg press at the end of the workout is a pretty baller way to insure the walk back to the car is as uncomfortable as possible.

    Once every 4 weeks I do a leg routine with a couple giant sets that look like this:

    3x15 Smith Machine Half Squats/3x15 Leg Extension/3x15 Leg Press
    Rest

    followed by:

    3x15 Seated Leg Curl/ 3x12 Romanian DL's/3x12 Walking Lunges

    The last couple times I have been wobbly as hell when I am leaving and got a headache this last time.

    Did 5x5 squats then followed it up with 4x10 front squats. My quads were pretty hammered afterwards.

    Should do an opposite rep scheme. Youre not supposed to go high rep with front squats.

    i hate doing legs. actually ended up throwing up once after having to leave early because i was on the verge of blacking out.
