Hey guys, Just dl'd Spyware Dr. on a co-workers computer, and when we were getting ready to run it we got a pop up saying we need a registration code, or we need to pay to get one. What is a good (free) program we can download to get rid of the spyware/trojans on her computer??

    Cheers

Ewido is trialware. Spy Sweeper suck ass. Spyware Doctor is meh. Hijack This is for Advanced users. Ad-Aware sin't for removing Viruses. CWShredder is for cleaning.... Silly

I'd do with either AVG Free Edition or Spybot Search & Destroy.

    Thread starter didn't mention viruses.

Adaware SE will remove plenty of pests.

I see you're a tight ass who believes the free shit you get online cleans your computer. If I ran all of the software mentioned above, I would probably find something new with each of them.

CWShredder is for cleaning.. just like every other program I mentioned. Although they all remove the garbage from your computer, they won't remove rootkits.
