    they just released the 9mm version today guise. :wiggle: whats everyone's take on this new line from SA?

    according to the website the 9mm is 19 +1 :eek3:

    What is improved? It looks like they got silly with a CNC machine and added a worthless safety

    nice gun, but i think with the match bbl, it would be more likely to seize when it gets hot..

    19+1 is cool. I think they look better than the 1st gens. If I was in the market for a 9mm I might consider one :dunno:

    I must be thinking of another handgun, I thought Springfield added another manual safety to the XDm

    Am I going crazy :wtc:

    he might be confused with the short run of XD's with thumb safeties in 2007, which they took off the line.

    main difference with the xdm's are the match bbls, 3 different size back straps, and the obvious cosmetics.

    for a short brief moment they had regular xd's with thumb safeties but it didnt last long at all.

    why you say that? do you even know what makes the a match bbl different from other bbls??

    They had thumb safeties on the XD-45 for a short time when they were trying to get a government contract.
