Anyone have any first hand knowledge using SA and how the warranties work?
i have a second hand 1911 v-10 and the slide lock "notch" is starting to "curl" up on the edge of the slide, so when the slide is back and you pop a mag in, it pops forward on its own. its the actual metal corner bending out for lack of a better word. its really weird. so I guess my question is what kind of turn around did they have and did you feel ok about sending your piece thru fedex/ups. and did they cover your problem? :dunno:

$500:squint: i shoulda haggled it down a lil more, i really wish it was parkerized.
the flames blowing out the top are pretty cool when you rapid fire, but that shit could light you on fire for sure. but the ports do compensate really well. The first shot every time rattles my teeth after that no problem , i found my self bracing up and clenching my teeth each time. but Ive dropped over 500 rounds in it and havent had a problem except for that slide notch.:x: I'd really like a SA champion loaded, maybe next time.:naughty:

I sent my M6 Scout in a year ago to get the barrel selector repaired.
My dad bought the gun for me second hand about 10 years ago.

Springfield fixed the selector, added a safety, trigger guard, new breakdown pin & keeper ring, and shipped it back.....For Free.

Except I didn't want/need a safety, and it took up less space folded up without the trigger guard. But still excellent that they didn't charge for any of it.

You know SA also refunds your shipping if you send them a copy of your receipt right?
