I've been having back problems for about a year and a half that have flared on and off. I finally went to a sports medicine doctor and was diagnosed with a sprained SI joint that has never healed properly. I had my first PT meeting on Friday and the outlook is good, but they asked that I stay away from deadlifts/squats for awhile—these sort of motions don't exactly feel pleasant anyways. Anyhow, bench, dips, pull-ups, shoulder press, and upper-back motions like that don't hurt. Does anyone have any recommendations for a three day split that focuses on upper-body? I'm just looking for something temporary.
