Spots of chrome trimmings

    What kind of spots? Rust spots? Tar? Hard water stains?

    I dont think they are rust... and they are not water spots... they are kind of orangy in color it seems like i could probably rub them out with the right stuff.

    They are not noticable if you dont look for it very closely.

    my chrome brushguard had rust forming all over it from the winter. I took it apart and polished it with mothers mag/aluminum polish..took everything off and it looked great.

    Orange in color? Sounds like rust to me.

    what can i do about it, if it is rust? Should it be my car only has like 2k miles
