didn't want to clutter the other thread so here we go:

Right as we go in the door, we are greeted by a naked R2 unit
    [IMG]

    Registration line
    [IMG]

My super awesome wife decided to tag along this year.

    Scarlet Witch registered before us.

Henchmen of the Monarch were next to us:

Now off to see some celebrities! Here i come AStrid, you sexy african queen...

Oh its Adam West! or the Mayor of Quahog...

Some random guy in artist alley giving free sketches of you:

He drew me as a ninja turtle, and my wife as a robot:

My ol lady said he was nice, so she bought some art for our little boy's room. His room is dinosaur themed.

    Honkey Tonk Man!

you may know this guy as Jaws from "Moonraker" & "The spy who loved me", but i know him as the guy from Happy Gilmore w/ the nail in his head.
(btw - im super jealous of Cabby for takin a pic w/ him)

Star Wars custom costume. Still no sign of Astrid :wtc:

Firefly fans! They gave us a pre-stamped postcard that had a bag of nuts stapled to it to send to the tv station.

    Squirrel Girl aka justanotherfurry
    [IMG]

Some cool little iron-man anime style statue.

Lawrence Fishburne, or Morpheus, or Cowboy Curtis, idk.

    Kato! not a crazy 88
    [IMG]

Troopers of the Storm. Notice the green hair in the background. Was a huge joker mask standing in line for the free DC shit.

So the wife and i see the long line and decide to stand in it. Along comes a furry. And Robin Hood. Also a furry.

Still in line, we see starwars nerd #11ty. I think this was the costume Leia wore to rescue solo right?

after we get our free DC stuff, we start walking around again.
    Teen Titans!

I decide that i need to look again for Astrid as i didn't see her the first time around... Back towards artist alley we meet this nice lady artist.
Wifey thought that would look nice in our bathroom.
Heres a close-up. She did a small sketch in the bottom corner. Thx to Iron-Man and Peter Parker for holding the sides down.

    its the 501st legion!

Took a bathroom break and saw this...

I asked for a sketch from Chris Giarrusso. He was pretty busy that day.
He signed the Mini-Marvels book and drew me this:

    I'm teh gat-dam batman
    [IMG]

One of the few characters my wife actually recognized:

Still no sign of Astrid, so we decide to check out some panels. Up 1st was "Alien Trespass" a spoof of 50's horror movies. Will from Will & Grace and the dad from Wonder Years. All the people asking questions kept referring to their stage names, not their real names lol.

Next was some J.J. Abrams project.. idk:hsugh:
He introduced a couple friends to help w/ the panel:

They showed the offical trailer. IDK about you, but i can't wait to see this movie.

The reason Heroes is at least watchable:

    Kirk:

    and the hottest Uhura evar.

After those 2 panels, the wife got hungry, and i was out of food/drinks. So after everyone left that panel, we found closer seats and i went on the hunt for some grubbage. On the way i see...

the naked R2 and a real life Jawa. he kept offering martinis to people i think.

Princess Peach and Daisey goin peepee
    [IMG]

After finding food and going back to the panels, they make me wait in line for about 15 minutes. Shit wrapped around the dam building... i come in just in time to see the next panel: "9" by focus
    [IMG]

After 9 was "UP" by Pixar. Shit looks so awesome. I swear they have the MIDAS touch! Was my wife's favorite part of the whole day. They showed like 5 clips of the movie. i was so excite, i didnt' get any pics.

my buddy finally decided to meet up w/ me in artist alley. on the way we see a huge crowd:
    whooty = white booty

Whilst walking around i see this dood, whom i've seen at every WonderCon. I call him Mooseknuckle ranger. He was w/ his boy Ryu. If you didn't know, Ryu fights in the UFC
    [IMG]

I love me some steam punk
    [IMG]

    Wife needed a break.

Buddy Christ gave us some energy!

I bought some zombie shirts from these guys last year. they had some pretty funny new ones.

Finally! after hours of searching, i meet my tv crush. i JIZZED IN MY PANTS
    [IMG]

    I also met spidey:

    HOPE & CHANGE!

    Castle Crasher?

    X-men
    [IMG]

this guy actually yelled something to me in Corba Commander's voice, but it was too muffled to actually make out.

    Strider
    [IMG]

    Gara of the sand:

As we were leaving i took a pic of the line for the panel for "Terminator Salvation"

Dinner was @ House of Prime Rib:

    I think i was underdressed...

    Anyways... thats about it.

Awesome pics. How much was the Daredevil sketch? I don't think I've seen Giarusso make sketches with a background before.

She is the assistant on a JJ Abrams show called Fringe. Its like X-Files type material, but not as good.

Chris Giarrusso is so awesome. Seriously, the only reason I really wanna go to one of these cons is to get one of his sketches. Wonder if I could get him to do Hellboy...

He did the Beta Ray Bill for me after I brought some pics of him. I'm sure he would be down for it.

He is awesome. And if he doesn't quite know how to do the character, he asks you for help or asks for a reference pic just so he can get it write :coold:

I'm gonna try and get a two character sketch with a Spidey and Daredevil... and hopefully DD is looking the other way.
