So lately in the gym I have been getting a rather sharp pain (not exruciating, but it is very noticeable) in both of my forearms. It is about midway down my forearm. If you were to lay your palm on a desk, it would be half way down the forearm, on the outside. Are these "splints"? I lift rather heavy, but doing preacher curls really set them off, so I shyed away for a bit, they got better, I hit preachers again and its back. Maybe I should wrap them for now on?

I had that too very recently in my left forearm... I took a week off and since coming back it's only noticeable when i do direct bicep work, and even then it's a lot less painful that it used to be.

I leanred the hard way, hopefully stopped before I did any real damage. I love preachers but I have to walk away from them :wtc:

I also notice the pain wasnt there WHILE doing the curls, but when I put the curl bar down, as soon as I let go of the bar the pain just shoots to my forearms.

I used to have the same thing, but then wrists got stronger and now i don't feel it at all. Do lighter weight if it hurts so damn much.

I have the same thing. It has gotten a lot better, but sometimes I wrap up my forearm really tight with cloth or something and it feels better.

WTF I got this thing too. Just recently... like a week ago since I started doing more weights.

So I shouldn't do preacher curls? :hs:
