Recently I noticed my left erector is around 1/2 larger than my right. I don't feel like I'm pulling more with my left during any movement, I'm assuming I have a hip imbalance or some tightness(weakness) somewhere else. Anyone with ideas on how to fix this?

I have the same issue. When I squat/deadlift/get hurt, it's normally the right side that hurts. I finally saw what my low back looks like, and was absolutely shocked that noone had mentioned it to me before. My right spinal erector is 2x the size of my left. Massage therapist and chiro both said my spine is straight, no issues there, just one side is larger. FWIW, my left pec has always been substantially larger than my right as well. I was worrying about this and what damage I'm undoubtedly causing when I noticed my younger brother has a similar pec difference. No spinal erector difference because he's too young to have developed much musculature. I think it's mostly genetic, possibly muscular adaptation over CNS efficiency. I just added in a bunch of stretches and side bends + single leg work to make sure my side to side strength was at least close. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I'll never make a good bodybuilder, but that probably has more to do with me being 894% body fat.

nope always double overhand. I used a mix probably 4 years ago deadlifting for about year, but I switched grip each lift.
