Why do we care about a FWD car?

Not only will it be sporting a turbo, but because it will also be wearing Ford's European kinetic-design styling. So it might actually turn out to be a slightly good looking FWD car that isn't completely dire to drive. Maybe

Looks like a dodge charger with the camo on - not too exciting yet for me.

I think the problem was they tried to interpret it themselves instead of just taking what they were given and saying "thank you sir".

I almost ended up with a Taurus SHO after my Mazda got wrecked. Not sure if the VW was a better choice, but at least it fits my frame. The Taurus has always been too big for me; I wonder if this one is any different since it's from Europe.

The car is going to be FWD right? Who the fuck wants a 300+hp FWD car  Not to mention, chances are it's going to handle like a softly sprung bucket of shit.

I will seriously put down $100, betting this car is not going to sell anywhere near as well as Ford wants.

Edit: If the car isn't FWD, then it might be alright. That's a big might though...

IMO Ford really needs to ditch the "Taurus" name, considering it's synonymous with unreliability, cheap materials, and shanty quality.

My friends Taurus was always in the shop for something new :dunno:

I guess the saying "your mileage may vary" holds true.

Does it need to come with weekly blow jobs to be up to par?

We'll see what happens, I just don't have much faith behind Ford. Off the top of my head, the GT was the only nice car by them this decade.

300hp FWD is only a problem in first gear. After that, it will be plenty manageable.

You forget that in the real world/tracks, there are things called turns.

I can feel my TSX push away from the apex in a hard turn, and I have a lot less HP. I can't imagine how much of a pain it would be with 300.

And why are we still talking FWD if it's going to be AWD?
