Official Spider-Man: Web of Shadows Discussion. v. Possible Spoilers

So I know there is a gaming group of OTCC figured I'd post this here. Spider-Man Web of Shadows is coming out this month (supposedly) and I'm actually looking forward to it. Story is pretty simple. You play Spider-Man during a full on Symboite invasion. Apparently Luke Cage, Black Cat and Wolverine are in it just to name a few.

I hope there's some decent replayability in this one- I hate when you finish a game and there's not much to do besides the story. Like in the last couple of Spidey games where you could go around beating up gangs and defusing bombs.:hsugh:

Everyone loved the original spider-man, so Iq bought it and it was awesome for a few hours, then got really boring and repetitive. I haven't played one since, but I might have to check this one out.

spider-man 2 was pretty fun. what they need to do is make is so the goin around defeating random criminals isnt so repetitive feeling. like every single ones the same. I loved how in spider-man 2 how just beating the story left you nowhere near done with the game.

Yeah, I like that you can bring enemies up into the air and beat their ass in different locations. You could kind of do that in the other games, but this is much more fluid and purposeful looking. I wonder if there'll be any online playability. I think some of the other Spidey games would have been more interesting if you could have set up missions to do with other online.

Yeah, keep the enemies airborne is SM2 was a pain in the ass. I think I did something like 7 pull backs doing that. I usually just fought them on the side of a building and pulled them up to me that way.

I see your throwing off high rise and raise you webbing one, grabbing him, swinging to the top of the Empire State Building then proceeding to Spinning Piledrive them into the pavement below. Spidey takes 0 damage and they technically should be turned into goo but die on impact anyways.

    I cannot wait for this.

I hope it's a mixture of Spider-man 2 with the ecstasy style web slinging and the random cool missions of Ultimate Spider-man only more fluid and purposeful.

I cannot wait to go around doing sadistic shit that Spider-man would do if he weren't hindered by that whole "I don't wanna kill anybody" schtick.

It's too bad they don't let you use his super strength to punch people. I mean with strength like his, he would put holes in people.

Seriously. Do the spinning piledriver from the top of the Empire State Building. My ex used to watch me play and when I did this she would say "You not super hero. You murder."
