so my homie was getting sick of administering the websites from their individual admin backends so i spent today working on a centralized admin panel for him.

here's a quick vid of the functionality, any thoughts?

    I like it.

Although, imagine one day your pic network gets massive and there are hundreds of images being uploaded everyday, and deleting pending images has become cumbersome. Only due to the fact that the UI controls slide out every time you need to delete something, I can see this might be considered an issue if your sites manage to become huge to the point management becomes difficult. I'd consider a multiple delete option if it were to get to that point. Something nifty perhaps... class changer, on click event, loop through array and remove.

good point, at this point i am against any mass delete! options. down the road, if/when it becomes necessary i'd like to do a drag/drop into a trashcan deal, then a confirm, then a final delete.

seems like there's too many unnecessary effects, and when you start to delete a lot of stuff it will turn out to be really damn annoying.

what about using a thickbox instead of the drop down from the top?

here I'll show you how I had mine made.

you can set it to show a list of photos uploaded in the past x amount of days and splits them into pages of 50 or 100 or how many you specify. from there you can check all the ones you want to delete or you can mass select all.

Add a box thats over the image (not sure what its called) with links that are approve/deny. though the pics will still be thumbnails so that may not be a good idea.

no i meant they go over that little thumbnail, no dropdown/lightbox/etc. but the pic would be too small to properly judge so its probably a bad idea
