Just kidding. I got a lot of info I have to mull over now. My question for anybody out there is can you describe the Warrant Officer Program specifically the Aviation sector?

how hard is it to score a 90 on a F.A.S.T. test and acheive a general technical score of 110 on the ASVAB.

    a little background on me

My college degree confers in AUG. will prolly end up with a 3.6

What is the major diff from OCS and WO training the recruiter told me that he has seen both types of officers fly.

He gave me some info like the AR-601-210 chpt 9 which i have not read yet the AR 40-501 and an SF-86 which is just a background check.

He said if I was interested he could start the ball rolling and call fort Rucker for specifics. But he thinks I would qualify on a quick glance. He also said that if you qualify for the program you are pretty much set unless you DOR.

    Is this true?

I told him that I am weighing out my options with the navy and AF but havent had much success communicating with them. He said the best thing to remember is that unless it is in writing it is bullshit
I didnt expect him to say that. Is he jerking my chain?

I also told him about my ability to get my masters and he said that loan repayments were not available at this time but it does not mean that the G.I. bill would be disqualified, but that changes constantly.

    This all sounds very compelling

Any help is appreciated and your service is an honor.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I thought the highest score possible on the ASVAB is a 99. How would you be able to get a 110?

of course, its the best job there is in my opinion. schools are long and hard but if you can handle that, then you are fine.

Is this is a serious question?

    Good stuff -
    1. You get to fly
    2. Kick ass nicknames like pilot, aviator, and demi-god
    3. You get paid pretty well
    4. You can blow shit up if you get the right airframe. Even if you get a chinook you can drop grenades out the window.
    5. Is there any better excuse to get out of work than saying "Sorry, no can do, I take off in 30 minutes"?

    Bad stuff -
    1. Constantly dodging panties from your adoring fans. My neck still hurts from the pair a big girl threw at me.
    2. Apparently the enemy thinks you are a good target
    3. Every 30 seconds having to explain to the fixed wing guys exactly how a helicopter stays in the air.
    4. Deciding if you should marry the blonde named Vicky or the brunette named Tammy.
    5. Driving becomes very boring very quickly.

    Really bad stuff -
Getting your dick caught in the zipper of your flight suit.

No, but they should be able to answer that at MEPS. What is your height and weight?

6' feet and 250 lbs, down from 290? Your BF% is going to be higher than 22 man.

Body-Fat standards for Army Male Soldiers are:

    Age 17-20 - 20%
    Age 21-27 - 22%
    Age 28-39 - 24%
    Age 40+ - 26%

Goals vs simple pleasures man. What is worth more to you. Getting in shape and having a career flying, or sitting on your ass and eating?
