I hope Charlize Theron can pull it off, but I'm starting to wonder if there's a big enough fanbase for this movie.

Speaking of Chameleon.......I'm also not too familiar with that novel.

"The film centers on a young man who lives in a country where everyone possesses magical powers, and who faces exile if he can't figure out what his own powers might be"

    Sounds interesting.

Spell for Chameleon is the 1st book in a huge fantasy series by Piers Anthony. In actuality the series is extremely campy (full of puns) and rather simple. I would suggest it to mid to late teenagers as opposed to adults. The frist couple books are great, the other 20 or so are very redundant.

I loved the first handfull of books in this series... but the puns started to matter more than the story, & it wasn't the same, so I stopped reading about 10 books in or so.

still cool they are doing a movie... I'll probably need to watch it

I stopped reading sometime around when Prince Dor became the view point character. Bink and Trent were awesome characters. I think it will be a great movie.
