What would you guys consider the best revolver speed loaders? I've got the new J Frame and I'm looking for some speed loaders for when it's my primary carry.

Also, a good belt holster for dual speed loaders? Single?

(Does anyone else even carry a revolver?! :noes:)

I thought moon clips were for the rimless cartridges?

Get a C&R FFL. I think that Midway gives dealer pricing to C&R holders :coold:. I used to carry a revolver before I got my Kel-Tec.

You can use moonclips with rimmed cartridges but you have to have your cylinder machined to make the clip fit and convert it over. Meh.

Anywawy I have a HKS speed loader and its ok but since I'm running .38spl I'm running flat nose rounds and its a bit harder to get them all in at once. Plus its huge. Check out the bianchi speed strips and order a couple at least with your speed loader. They're flat and easy to carry in your pocket (it is a pocket gun afterall right?) and with a little practice you can get pretty decently fast at using them.

Soy covered all the bases, basically. HKS speedloaders and Bianchi speed strips are the main options.

Although these are cheap enough to try out, but I've never heard anything on 'em.

Safariland iirc makes a great compact single speed loader holder. The HKS's work pretty good, but they're kinda big. I usually carry speed strips when I have a wheel gun as they're small and flat and fit in the coin pocket of my jeans. Not the fastest, but very easy to carry.

I'm getting both. I figure I'll use the speedloaders sometimes, and the speed strips others. Plus they're really, really cheap.

Got the safariland Comp I speedloaders today. They're pretty freakin awesome. Nice and small and they autoload - you just push the rounds down in the cylinder and the snap in. Very slick.
