I don't think so....but perhaps I just missed it. The linked site clearly says it's for any pistol purchase after 10/1/07 - 12/31/07.

Keep in mind this is for pistols only. There was an offer for 2 extra mags for the M&P 15 but that's their AR15.

If you have a link to one before this time, I could sure use it cuz I bought mine before this promotion.

It's been going on most of the year it's just every time it gets to the expiration date they extended it. I bought mine in june and have 4 mags and a range bag. I got mine on the 1 June to 15 July rebate but since it's off of the S&W site you can't get the sheet anymore cause they updated to the new one. if you go to a local deal (and mine might even have some laying around still) they should have the sheets there to fill out still w/ older dates..not sure when you got yours.

Here's the Rifle one you're talking about.

me too but I sent off for the range bag. I'm not 100% sure I'll get it tho. I bought mine like Sept 27 and my bag request had to be postmarked by Sept 30 but I didn't get it in the mail till like Oct 5th.

I hope they still honor it but so far, nothing. :wtc:

Two M&P 9 mags, new in the factory packaging would be $80. They are $39 a piece from what I have seen.

Dunno if you guys saw this but thought it was pretty cool.. take a blowdrier and hear the slide and a crayon than rub it on the etching..easily customizable and you can change it/take it off whenever easy as it goes on.

or you can make the slide/barrel ect silver by soaking in vinegar and rubbing off finish..than hit with crayon for something like this..

hmmm...good to know...thanks. I kinda like the looks of it right now but it's good have alternative.

One thing, my slide gets really hot when shooting right by the end of the barrel, prolly just melt all that customization at the end of it.

There was an ad in the paper today for some hunting shop in the Bay Area that said, "Purchase any S&W 500 or 460 & get a 9mm or 40S&W pistol for $99." :dunno: Might go check it out.

Like the metal finish. Seems like if vinegar would take remove the finish, stronger cleaning supplies would too.

it's not just them it works on anything. There was a thread about it on sigforum and the M&P guys started doing it few guys did it to their 1911's. Soak the barrel ect in vinegar for 30-40min than rub the finnish right off..Leaves the metal behind and you get a nice shiny stainless finish.

These guys fire them w/ no problem of the crayon melting away (for those who like it) though I wondered about that too.

Might have to try the vinegar deal for my barrel sometime.
Does it matter what finish is on the barrel/slide, or will vinegar take most of them off?
Kinda wondering if my Stoeger Cougar barrel finish will come off with vinegar too.

Oh well... minus whale just try it.

From what I gather no.. here's instructions..

"Instead of polishing the barrel, just soak it in white vinegar. For our MP's about 30 min does it. Then just take your fingers and rub the black off. Then run it under cold water for about 2min, dry, apply a small amount of oil, wipe off and then apply Fitz or another brand of metal polish. Rub to whatever degree of shine you want then apply more oil, wipe off and there you have it. The vinegar is not as abrasive or harmful as other chemicals or using a Scotch brite pad. The vinegar has no effect on the hardness nor durability of the barrel, it merely removes the coloration. I didn't believe it when I read it but took a chance and I'll be dipped, it worked! The forum member who helped me out said he used it on other barrells and found out that the m&p was more difficult than the others.
    http://upload8.postimage.org/200298/photo_hosting.html"

"Just did the BBL of my MP9, then decided to do my SA 1911 slide and BBL, tunred out pretty nice! Thanks for the tips, worked out great. Took alot of elbow grease on the 1911 slide though, but was well worth it!!! The MP BBL took less than 30 min. after it soaked!!! "

Sweet. I'm not so sure I'd do the slide, just cuz I like being in stealth mode when I'm carrying... but I may do the barrel.
