    Sooo, I was just taking time away from OT and reading Genre at work (which technically COULD be considered 'work'), and this ad caught my eye. Seemingly, there is this new Condo Island Community in Florida, right off of the Miami coast. The ad was hot, and after visiting the website, I'm very impressed...

    The Condo's web site => http://www.space01.net/index1.html

    Some pics...

    The 1,847 SqFt condos for sale in this building, each run somewhere in the ballpark of $824,224. :eek3: Talk about queer buying power.

    Don't :squint: at me, :slap: . LOL...

    On a side note, it's really... well, gay, the way we :slap: one another so much. But I must admit, it makes me laugh every time, as my mind animates the action. I totally visualize our avatars going at it, a la Karen from Will & Grace... :rofl:

    :slap: don't do that.

    I just thought it was interesting, and a cool concept. Also, the lines are nice and crisp. I just don't like the metal in the exterior front... But the rear and interior is mad hot.

    I think that this would be a cozy lil place for a woodland retreat, country home, or ski lodge (add a fire place). I would even be as bold as to put up atop a larger building as a penthouse.

    I am really into architecture and I actually REALLY like that house. It would be perfect to stick back in the woods behind my property... very striking contrast. That is awesome :bigthumb:

    :rofl: @ that square home, its actually kinda cool and cheap to the boot :big grin:.

    And 825k for a ~2ksqft condo isn't too bad...except for the fact that its in the Penis of America :fawk:. Oh wait, that might actually be an advantage in this forum :o.

    I was sitting here thinking of getting one to put near the college. I luv the St. Mary's area, and I could sooo rent out a room to a student or something... Just a thought... for now...

    It's not actually as cheap as it seems. :hs: They said that average total construction cost is about $75k. The $31k is just for the shell. That's still not that bad though.

    Regardless, 75k for a 1ksqft place is still dirt cheap, maybe my parents will buy one for me when I graduate cause there is no way I can afford housing around here :rofl:

    You know I'm a research geek, so I found some testimonials and articles from the designer and it seems that it depends on the furniture and windows and plumbing and utility materials (ie, stove, fridge, etc...). A lot of people finished with a total of under $50k!!! I was like, that $75k included the plasma tv and shit...hehe
