What do you think of my plan?

    Ramstein AB
    to
    McChord AFB or Travis AFB
    to
    Elmendorf AFB or Eielson AFB

And back the same way when I come back. Chances of getting flights? I've never flown space-A before so I'm just a little wary.

Do you have to get any documents in advance to go space-a? Or can you just board with an ID?

thanks for the link, it helped.

I've decided I'll try to fly from Ramstein AB Germany to Travis AFB California via Dover AFB Delaware. Then from Travis I'll try to get on the plane to Eielson AFB Alaska. :noes: Hope everything works out. I'm leaving for Ramstein in about an hour.

You need to call your terminal on base, usually you have to book the flight on the same day. Flights can be cancelled at last minute... 1st come 1st serve :)

Space A is good if you have unlimited time and are very flexible. Bring a book and a travel pillow and set your expectations to zero and you'll be okay.
