Soy Milk, your input?

    I have been searching on google and everything conflicts each other, one article said its great for the body another one said its not good.

    Do you drink soy milk? Have you had any side effects?

    My man boobs are already big enough I better cut soy milk out of my diet

    I don't think small amounts are going to affect shit. If most of your protein is coming from soy, then ok but a little soy milk isn't going to give you breast. I drank it for awhile, loved the taste, saw no side effects.

    I have about 1 cup a day I don't think its going to kill me. Just don't want to grow my man bobs any more im trying to lose some weight.

    There's a lot of questionable research out there but the legit studies I've seen show that feeding your children soy causes under developed pen0r, increase in being gay later on, etc.

    The less legit stuff I've seen basically says a few tablespoons a week is the equivalent of a male taking birth control pills.

    The problem with soy is that most people's goals on here are to do everything they can to boost anabolic hormones. That's why you lift, eat, take steriods. All of these things except steriods have only a very small effect. Even if eating soy only has a small effect, you're erasing a good portion of your efforts (which are a huge pain in the ass) by consuming it.

    Growing man boobs is not going to happen over night from a cup of soy milk, erasing your deadlift workout for the day, probably.

    i avoid it personally. i mean, it's not like it's really vital to your gains. Just drink regular milk..

    damn soy homos and their marketing. Has anyone thought of rice milk if your lactose infart-a-lent.

    There are benefits of soy heartwise (estrogen is good for the heart, plus has some other thing that helps).... anabolic wise no, as the protein is incomplete, and cannot be synthesized for muscle. I think its sticky time for soy stuff...
