So i don't drink much moo milk. ever since i stopped during college, my stomach just doesn't agree with the lactose, and i'll get cramps.

I'm 145, and currently on hypertrophic routine. I'm consuming about 160-170g of protein from non-soy sources, and am hardly depending on soy protein.

Now, i've read lots of thigns saying how bad it is for people with thyroid issues, and what not...as well as many studies showing it as being ineffective for building. However, i consume about 1 cup a day. 1/2 cup in my morning cereal, and 1/2 cup in my afternoon shake.

SHould i cut it completely? Is it harming me any?

I would say that you're fine with that. Soy milk does bloat me up though.

Nah. If you have trouble digesting lactose, then stick with it. As long as you're getting your protein from a variety of sources, you'll be fine.

if/when I need milk, I usually use soy milk because it's already in the fridge. I don't avoid cow milk, but I don't really buy it.

you would never have to worry about it unless you went on an edamame and soy milk diet

read this in an article awhile ago.

i have tried as hard as i can to totally cut soy out of my diet. i have almost completely eliminated partially hydrogenated soybean oil, soy protein isolate, and a few other soy products found commonly hidden in foods.

too much estrogen for me... there are enough xenoestrogens in plastics and everyday things to be adding phytoestrogens with soy milk, imo.

i'm allergic to dairy and have been using soy and tofu substitutes for it all of my life. i don't think i have bitch tits and i don't have a mangina. i :420: as well, have productive gym sessions at 2am after pulling an 8.5hr work shift and class before that and when i have time and when the opportunity strikes with my girl, i can go however long, as many times as she's up to. i'm fairly certain my test isn't suffering from it. quit worrying about 1 cup.
