I was wondering if there was any merit to the "soy will make you grow breasts" line of thinking. I've been getting just about all of my protein through meat and shakes for as long as I've been lifting, but we accidentally picked up "Veggie Hotdogs" the other day, and the nutritional information is ridiculous (two hotdogs is 160 calories, 0 fat, 0 carbs, and 38g of protein).

Would choking somethinglike that down (and hey, it can't be worse than tuna) render all my lifting meaningless, or will I wake up tomorrow looking like Vida Guerra?

Once in a while it's probably ok. Large amounts aren't good for you imo; for one thing, large amounts of soy can mess with your thyroid :o also, it's not a complete protein. You're better off with meat/dairy protein.
