I recently had a new motherboard installed and I guess it came with its own sound card. The motherboard works great but the sound card doesn't work at all. When I look at "Settings" through the start menu and do the control panel and select "sounds and audio devices" it doesn't say that I have a sound device but if I use the program AIDA32 it says I have a sound card SiS7012. Now I've downloaded the drivers for that sound card and it won't install. Some error pops up saying that it can't install for Windows XP even though it says on the company's website that it works for XP. I've tried getting in touch with the computer tech. that installed the motherboard but I haven't been able to. So how do I fix this? Please help.
