My new mobo has built in Realtek ALC883 audio

My old pc has a pci 24bit Audigy SE 7.1 card in it

Should I put the Audigy in my new pc or rock the on board Realtek until I buy a better sound card?

i've used creative since the SoundBlaster! 16 days and I've never had a problem. I currently use a X-Fi XtremeMusic for casual playback and gaming, and an Edirol PCR-320A for recording music.

A lot of on board sound cards nowadays at 7.1 so I'd just keep the onboard.

    That realtek is crap.

    I'd use the Audigy.

    Do you game?
Onboard sound has improved a lot. MP3, videos,... you probably wouldn't know the difference. But in gaming,... no matter how shitty the Creative cards are,.. it will handle EAX much better than onboard.

    Google Realtek EAX problems.
