Wait...how many of you were there bothering the main photog?

You are one of those people who gets invited to wedding and brings along a dslr, and next day you see their pictures on website as if they were the photog that day :ugh:

Specially getting up close and personal like in #2...i would of simply told the groom/bride if they want me to continue doing my job or these fools gonna be shooting the rest of the event.

    looks good.

But if you're not invited as a photog, don't go leeching pics off the paid guy... not cool at all.

I like these but would be better if

5, if you had his arm in frame.

    7, if you had their faces(like 5).

    8, with some fill

    9, without the minister

It was a complicated situation... and generally just a clusterfuck.
What happened was the bride and groom hired a photographer/cinematographer combo and ended up not liking the engagement shots he put out, so they hired a mutual friend to do some engagement shots. The b&g ended up liking our mutual friend's pictures more so invited him to shoot the wedding too... but already had a contract signed with the other folks. We didn't know any of this, but our mutual friend invites us to shoot, so we say yes thinking we're helping out a friend shoot his friend's wedding. We carpool over there and oh hey, there's already a hired main photog, etc... and then after the ceremony - oh hey, the b&g didn't know our mutual friend had invited us to shoot. Yeah...

Wow. If your friend knew this he's an asshole for agreeing and not telling you guys...I would've walked out on it, it's so disrespectful all around. If your friend didn't know, he should've walked out on it the day of.
