Business runs short on money sometimes so instead of getting a normal payroll check she just writes me a regular check out of the business account. I still get the same amount I do as if I would on a normal payroll check after taxes but I know she is going to stick me with a 1099 and not tell me about it. Six times she's done this now without warning and nothing I can do about it really. So I better start looking for another job. Even if I stick around and she continues to do it yea I make the same amount but its money that will owed to IRS.

Wouldn't that be considered theft? Does she have any legal right to do this I guess ? Business is broke its broke I can understand that, but doing it at random without any notice kinda sucks.
