    i just got a brand new sony wega 27 inch TV
    the picture quality right now is pretty crappy
    so i need to find out what the proper setup is for brightness,etc?
    anyone of you own one or know any sony wega forums?
    BTW, the model is KV27FV17

    you will get used to it. believe me, you will se ALOT more detail. i used AVIA to set it up.

    its a $50 home theater disc that provides test to collaborate the tv.

    AVIA is used mostly for RPTVs where the possibility for burn-in or damage is most frequent. In direct view settings, a HT disk like AVIA is not completely necessary.

    well on the avia disc, it had diffrent seups for rear projedction, plasma, and direct view
