    So, I have been getting sick and sleeping like shit. At this mornings training session we were warming up the snatch and I was getting light headed. So, we start doing reps from the high hang, meanwhile I am getting more light headed and managed to snatch 70 kg directly into my forehead as I started to feel a little faint. It felt awesome and I started gushing blood everywhere and my training for the ended 10 minutes into it. Fuck being sick and fuck snatching weights into teh 5heads. I'll post a pic later.

    yeah I wouldn't be doing oly if I felt like shit... too many opportunities to drop a barbell on my head. or knock out some teeth, which happened to my friend when he got stoned before doing cleans in high school... right in the smacker.

    One time my coach had a kid getting crazy with the snatch. The kid was warming up and doing 40 kg but ripping the shit out of it to the point of being dangerous. Well the kind wound up ripping on it really good, but right into his nose. The kids nose basically exploded into a giant bloody mess. The ER docs were trying to understand the how and why...

    Just a week before the CL photoshoot back in may I was doing snatches and bounced the bar right off my head leaving a gash that the pics fortunately didn't show though I did try to cover it up with some makeup.
    I've also knocked the wind out of myself doing cleans and right into my neck.:wiggle:

    What's really fun? Doing clean pulls, and squishing one of your balls with 160 kg... sometimes keeping the bar close during pulls is not a good thing.

    If i'm sick I don't train.

    No sense in going in and doing a half-assed workout and then not have your body up to par for repairing itself. I might go running or something if I have a cold, but I won't lift until the sickness begins to wear down.

    I almost knocked myself out push pressing 225 because I pressed it directly into my chin at the bottom of the lift.

    That wasn't fun.

    Jerks is serious bizzness. I remember one time I misracked the weight and I was getting ready to go, but then I was like I am feeling kinda fuzzy. Go for the dip and kept going down to the ground. Attempting a jerk+choking yourself out=fail.
